A reader before a teacher
Scripture & Grace is a public notebook for serious questions about the Bible.
We began with one Korean Presbyterian lay Christian working through Scripture in order, often pausing over a Hebrew word or a detail that did not fit a simple answer. This site makes the study accessible to readers of different backgrounds, including those who are not religious.
Our starting perspective is openly stated, but we do not speak on behalf of every Presbyterian church or pretend that contested interpretations are settled.

Passage-by-passage explanations, carefully framed theological discussions, links to relevant biblical passages, and personal reflections when the author has actually provided them.
The same message, naturally expressed
Our Korean source manuscript sets the study's conclusions and theological perspective. Each edition uses natural expressions for its readers without changing the author's claims, emphasis or uncertainty.
